Product Description
Atomic Model Set
These sets consists of moulded balls of different colors and sizes along with connecting lugs of different sizes. These sets are very helpful in modelling different organic and Inorganic compounds. These are available in two different sets:
1. SENIOR SETThis set consists of 185 lugs and 370 balls of prescribed colours and sizes packed in a moulded box having separate space for every particular colour and size of ball.
2. JUNIOR SETThis set consists of 37 connecting lugs and 75 balls of different colours and sizes packed in a moulded box.
Durable, Colour-Coded ComponentsEach atom in the set is made from high-quality polypropylene (PP), ensuring longevity and consistent use. Balls are clearly colour-coded, representing different elements for easy identification during the modeling process. Flexible PVC connectors allow for quick assembly and disassembly, fostering repeated practice without wear or damage.
Versatile Learning ApplicationsIdeal for students and educators, the Atomic Model Set supports interactive teaching by making molecular and chemical structures tangible. It enables the construction of simple and complex molecules, facilitating a deeper understanding in classrooms, laboratories, and other educational environments.
Organized and Portable DesignThe set comes in a compact plastic storage box, measuring approximately 18 cm x 12 cm x 2.5 cm, weighing around 250 grams. This portable design makes it easy to carry between classrooms or laboratories, ensuring that all components are readily available and neatly arranged.
FAQs of Atomic Model Set (PP):
Q: How do you assemble molecules using the Atomic Model Set (PP)?
A: To create molecular models, select the appropriate colour-coded atom balls and join them with the flexible PVC connectors. Follow the molecular structure you want to illustrate, connecting atoms as needed to represent single, double, or multiple bonds.
Q: What educational benefits does this Atomic Model Set offer?
A: This set gives users a hands-on approach to understanding molecular geometry, bonding, and chemical structures. It reinforces learning through visualization and assembly, aiding memory retention and conceptual clarity for chemistry students.
Q: When is it most effective to use this model set in learning environments?
A: The Atomic Model Set is most effective during lessons on molecular structures, bonding, or organic chemistry. Its also useful for demonstrations in laboratory sessions or group learning activities where visualization of three-dimensional structures enhances comprehension.
Q: Where can this Atomic Model Set be utilized?
A: This model set is intended for use in educational settings such as classrooms, laboratories, and science clubs. It is suitable for both school and college-level teaching and can be used in workshops and demonstrations.
Q: What elements are included in the set and how are they identified?
A: The set includes atoms such as Hydrogen, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Chlorine, and potentially others, each represented by distinct colours. Colour-coding makes it easy to quickly select and identify required elements during model assembly.
Q: How should the Atomic Model Set be stored and maintained?
A: After use, simply disassemble the models and return all components to the included plastic storage box. This keeps the set organized, prevents loss of pieces, and preserves the quality and durability of the atom balls and connectors for future use.
Q: What is the main application of this Atomic Model Set?
A: The primary application is educational, enabling users to build three-dimensional representations of chemical and molecular structures. This is especially helpful for teaching and demonstrating concepts in chemistry and molecular biology.
